Kromek Group PLC - Sedgefield, England-based detection technology supplier - Revenue in year ended April 30 totals GBP10.4 million, down 21% from GBP13.1 million. Pretax loss narrows to GBP6.3 million from GBP18.3 million loss, due to non-repeat of GBP13.1 million of exceptional impairment losses on trade receivables and amounts recoverable on contracts.
Separately, Kromek says it wins new contracts and orders across all segments for delivery this year. In nuclear detection, Kromek wins GBP173,000 order from UK government-related customer. Notes GBP349,000 UK Ministry of Defence contact in biological-threat detection. Also gets USD84,000 repeat order from US medical imaging customer and USD250,000 repeat order from US-based aerospace and defence technology customer.
