LONDON (Alliance News) - Henderson Smaller Companies Investment Trust PLC said Friday that it made several changes to its board following its annual general meeting.
Senior Independent Director Mary Ann Sieghart retired from the board with immediate effect and was replaced by Beatrice Hollond, who was chairman of the audit committee.
The company also appointed Alexandra Mackesy and Penelope Freer as non-executive directors with immediate effect.
Mackesy is currently a non-executive director on the Scottish Oriental Smaller Companies Trust PLC, Murray International Trust PLC and JPMorgan Chinese Investment Trust PLC.
While, Freer currently serves as a non-executive director on the boards of Empresaria Group PLC, Advanced Medical Solutions Group PLC and Crown Place VCT PLC.
Shares in the investment trust closed up 0.5% at 902.00 pence each.
