IN BRIEF: JPMorgan American Investment says fund manager to retire

JPMorgan American Investment Trust PLC - investor in "the core US stock market", managed by JP Morgan Asset Management - Says it has been informed by its manager, JPMorgan Funds Ltd, that Jonathan Simon, one of the company's large cap portfolio managers, will retire in early 2025. Simon will continue with his existing responsibilities until his retirement.

JPMorgan American Investment Trust adds that it will make an announcement regarding Jonathan Simon's successor "in due course".

Stock price: 963.98 pence, up 0.3% in London on Wednesday

12-month change: up 41%
