(Alliance News) - InfraStrata PLC said Friday it has appointed Deborah Saw as non-executive director with effect on Saturday.
Saw's most recent role was as executive chair at public relations firm Newgate Communications, at which she was a founder, for eight years since 2012.
Newgate is a subsidiary of London-listed SEC Newgate SpA.
"I am delighted to welcome Deborah to the Board of InfraStrata. With her appointment, the board now comprises two executive and three non-executive directors, which is the optimum size and ratio for a company of our size," said Chief Executive Officer John Wood.
"Deborah brings with her significant experience within the areas of stakeholder engagement and corporate reputation with a particular focus on the natural resources and defence sectors. As the company moves into the next phase of its corporate life-cycle, Deborah will be crucial in providing the required advice and oversight on our corporate communications strategy," Wood added.
Shares in Infrastrata - which is based in London - were up 0.8% at 0.31 pence on Friday afternoon. Newgate was trading 5.4% lower at 35p.
