Jan 11 (Reuters) - Informa forecast a jump in profit in 2024, as the London-listed events organiser benefits from sustained post-pandemic demand and branches out into new markets such as healthcare and luxury.

Stephen Carter, who has who has completed more than a decade as Informa CEO, said that almost all geographies are performing well, including mainland China.
"If there is one geographical area that still has more return growth, post-COVID growth to come, it would be Hong Kong because Hong Kong is very dependent upon international traffic in our line of business," Carter told Reuters.
"The international traffic flows to Hong Kong are returning, but they are slightly slower than the domestic return in mainland China," he added.
Informa on Wednesday agreed to combine its digital businesses with U.S.-based TechTarget. ($1 = 0.7865 pounds) (Reporting by Aby Jose Koilparambil in Bengaluru; Editing by Rashmi Aich and Alexander Smith)
