AIM-quoted Imaginatik says that it expects to report lower revenues and a higher loss in the year to March 2011. It has been a year of turmoil for the collaborative software company, which ousted chief executive Mark Turrell last year. He requisitioned a general meeting but lost the votes and initially sent notice of another requisition but subsequently withdrew it. Turrell remains a major shareholder. Imaginatik lost £1.42m in the six months to September 2010, which is almost as much as in the previous year. The interim revenues fell from £2.27m to £1.48m. last year's full year revenues were £4.55m. Imaginatik needs to stem the cash outflow and new contracts are a good start. Chemical company Yara International has signed an annual licence and two Innovation-as-a-Service contracts have been secured. The latter contracts are part of a shift to an outsourced services model. Executive chairman Matt Cooper recently subscribed for 3m shares at 1.5p each, taking his stake to 8.3%. That cash won't last for long if the outflow continues to be significant.
