(Alliance News) - Intuitive Investments Group PLC announced on Monday promising full-year results as its net asset value per share increased 10% from flotation.
As at 30 September 2021, the London-based investment company reported a 6.6% increase in net assets to GBP8.1 million from GBP7.6 million in its opening assets following its admission to AIM on December 14 last year.
Intuitive Investments net asset value per share was up 10% from flotation at 20.14 pence as at September 30.
In the 12 months to September 30, Intuitive Investments reported a pretax profit of GBP731,365 in its first full-year results since its incorporation.
Chair David Evans said: "The company's performance for the period under review has been encouraging. The first stages of our journey have been successfully achieved with a flotation and executing on the investment strategy as set out at admission.
"We have executed on our pipeline plan, investing in eight unquoted, eight publicly traded companies and exiting from one publicly traded company. The flotation of Light Science Technologies Holdings PLC, post period end, was an excellent example of how our business both supports its investee companies and delivers value for our shareholders. I look forward to providing further updates for our investors as we continue to grow our portfolio of exciting high potential life sciences businesses."
Intuitive did not declare a dividend "given the size of the company".
Shares in Intuitive Investments were up 2.6% at 20.00 pence on Monday afternoon in London.
