LONDON (Alliance News) - Horizon Discovery Group PLC on Thursday said it has signed two manufacturing agreements with an unnamed next generation sequencing platform company.
Horizon, the gene editing technologies company, said the agreements may lead to further deals in the future. No financial details were disclosed.
Under the agreements, Horizon will supply two HDx Molecular Reference Standards which will be incorporated into assay kits made by the partner.
"The inclusion of Horizon's Reference Standards as a standard kit component by a leading NGS platform provider demonstrates a shift toward independent and highly characterised reference materials to support the deployment of NGS assays in cancer," said Horizon President Paul Morrill.
Horizon shares were up 0.7% to 2.14 pence Thursday morning.
