(Alliance News) - Hurricane Energy PLC confirmed it has spudded the third well of a three-well programme in the UK North Sea on Tuesday.
Hurricane is drilling the Warwick West well on the Greater Warwick area, having previously drilled Lincoln Crestal and Warwick Deep.
The firm two weeks ago said it was "delighted" with results from the Lincoln Crestal well, but it had disappointment in July after Warwick Deep failed to achieve commercial test production rates.
Hurricane shares were 1.9% lower on Tuesday morning at a price of 45.62 pence each.
