DIRECTOR DEALINGS SUMMARY: Hastings Divisional Head's Wife Sells

LONDON (Alliance News) - The following is a summary of director dealings reported in London on Tuesday.

Car insurer Hastings Group Holdings said the wife of the managing director of one of its subsidiaries sold shares in the company last week.

On Thursday, Katherine van der Meer, the wife of Hastings Insurance Services Ltd Managing Director Tobias van der Meer, sold 70,164 shares at 221.00 pence per share. She then sold a further 172,158 shares at 218.00p each on Friday, before then selling another 145,837 shares at 218.00p again on Monday.

In total, the three transactions were worth just shy of GBP850,000. Following the transactions, Katherine van der Meer still has 611,841 shares in the company, while Tobias van der Meer has 367,712.

Hastings shares closed down 0.2% to 216.36p on Tuesday.

Mediclinic International said Chief Financial Officer Petrus Myburgh acquired 14,000 shares at ZAR136.46 each in Johannesburg Monday. Myburgh's subsequent shareholding was not disclosed. Shares in Mediclinic closed up 1.2% at 748.93 pence Tuesday.

Drinks giant Diageo said its incoming chairman has purchased GBP256,750 worth of shares in the company. Javier Ferran currently is a non-executive director but will become Diageo's chairman on January 1. He bought 13,000 shares at 1,975.00 pence per share on Tuesday. His total holding following the transaction was not disclosed. Diageo shares closed up 0.9% to 1,988.29p Tuesday.

IT services company Computacenter on Tuesday said Chairman Gregory Lock has continued adding to his stake with two share purchases on Friday and Monday. Last week, Lock and his wife, Rosemary, spent just shy of GBP440,000 on Computacenter shares. On Tuesday, Computacenter said Lock had bought 6,000 shares in the company at 720.00 pence per share on Friday and then a further 10,000 at 721.00p on Monday. His total holding after the transactions was not disclosed. Computacenter shares closed up 0.2% to 724.10p on Tuesday.

Woodford Patient Capital Trust on Tuesday said Non-Executive Director Carolan Dobson acquired 25,000 shares at 95.48 pence each. The total value of the acquisition was GBP23,870. Dobson's subsequent shareholding was not disclosed. Shares in Woodford Patient Capital Trust closed down 1.2% at 93.75 pence Tuesday.

SIG said Mel Ewell, its newly appointed interim chief executive officer, bought 11,000 shares at a price of 89.65 pence each. Ewell's subsequence shareholding was not disclosed. Ewell was appointed as the company's interim chief executive officer last Friday after Stuart Mitchell stepped down. Shares in SIG closed down 0.2% at 89.99p Tuesday.

Recently-spun-out price comparison service GoCompare.com Group said Non-Executive Director Angela Seymour-Jackson bought shares in the company on Monday. Seymour-Jackson purchased 36,973 shares in GoCompare at 66.975 pence apiece. Her total holding following the purchase was not disclosed. GoCompare, spun-out of FTSE 250 insurer esure Group earlier this month, closed down 4.2 at 62.75p on Tuesday.

Non-Standard Finance on Tuesday said Non-Executive Director Charles Gregson bought 9,000 shares at a price of 56.88 pence Tuesday. Following this purchase, Gregson holds 256,083 shares in the company, or a less than 1.0% stake. Shares in Non-Standard Finance closed up 1.1% at 59.00 pence Tuesday.

Waste management firm Augean said Chief Executive Stewart Davies bought shares in the company on Monday. Davies bought 25,000 shares at 56.00 pence per share. His total holding after the purchase was not disclosed. On Monday, Augean said its North Sea Services business has created a partnership with Forth Ports Dundee to create a facility to manage waste arising from the decommissioning of offshore oil and gas equipment. Shares in Augean closed up 2.4% to 57.35p on Tuesday.

Book publisher and distributor Quarto Group said Chief Executive Marcus Leaver bought shares in the company on Monday. Leaver bought 410 shares at 302.00 pence apiece. He now holds 386,047 shares, or 1.9% of Quarto's issued share capital. Quarto shares closed down 1.3% at 301.00p.

Luxury fashion retailer Burberry Group said the president of its Europe, Middle East, India and Africa business sold shares in the company on Monday. Burberry said EMEIA President Marco Gentile sold 4,646 shares at 1,407.87 pence apiece. The transaction was worth GBP65,410. His holding after the disposal was not disclosed. Shares in Burberry closed up 0.4% to 1,406.47p on Tuesday.

CloudCall Group said Non-Executive Director Gary Browning bought shares in the company on Monday. Browning bought 50,000 shares at 53.00 pence per share, his first holding in the cloud software firm. Shares in CloudCall closed up 0.9% to 54.00p on Tuesday.

President Energy raised USD17.2 million in a share placing, and expects to raise a further USD2.8 million in a share subscription. PLLG Investments, a company that is beneficially owned by Chief Executive Officer and Executive Chairman Peter Levine subscribed for a total of 21 million shares in the placing. PLLG has agreed to gift 20 million shares, meaning it will hold a 29.82% stake in the company's enlarged share capital after the placing. Shares in President Energy closed down 9.9% at 6.31p Tuesday.

Frontier Developments said Kathy Dixon, a person connected to Director of Operations James Dixon, sold 2,500 shares in the video game developer at 195 pence each Tuesday. Dixon's subsequent shareholding was not disclosed. Shares in Frontier closed up 1.0% at 202.00 pence Tuesday.

CVS Group said Shirley Innes, the wife of Chief Executive Simon Innes, bought 5,750 shares at a price of 867 pence each on Tuesday. This makes up Shirley Innes entire holding in the company. Simon Innes's total interest, including his wife's holding, is 252,225 shares, or a less than 1.0% stake in the veterinary company. Shares in CVS Group closed up 0.1% at 862.50 pence Tuesday.
