LONDON, Oct 22 (Reuters) - Britain's competition watchdoghas decided against recommending an end to "free" in-creditbanking or forcing the break-up of big banks to improvecompetition in UK banking sector, but has recommended measuresto aid easier comparison of accounts.
The Competition & Markets Authority said on Thursday thatbanks must address long-term problems and make it easier forcustomers to take charge of their accounts.
