LONDON (Alliance News) - Honeycomb Investment Trust PLC said Thursday it completed the placing of 9.5 million shares at an issue price of GBP10.50 per share.
The net proceeds, GBP100 million, will be used in line with the company's investment policy.
Liberum Capital Ltd acted as sole bookrunner in relation to the placing.
Honeycomb's issued share capital will now comprise 39.4 million shares.
Honeycomb shares were untraded Thursday at 1,135.00 pence per share.
Earlier this month, Honeycomb announced an interim dividend of 20p per share. The placing shares will not be entitled to receive this interim dividend, Honeycomb stressed.
The company expects the admission of these shares to the fund segment of the London Main Market on Monday next week.
