Golden Saint Resources Granted Diamond Exporters Licence To Work With Artisan, Small Scale Miners

Fri, 04th Oct 2013 10:38

LONDON (Alliance News) - Golden Saint Resources Limited Friday said that it was granted a 12 month diamond exporter's licence, which will allow it to purchase and export diamonds from holders of artisanal or small scale mining and dealer's licences in Tongo, Moa, Baja and the surrounding areas.

The West African diamond and gold exploration company said that the issuance of this licence, brings it one step closer to achieving revenue in the near term from alluvial diamond mining, and working with the artisanal and small scale miners, while still progressing with its exploration programme.

"The Company will soon be in a position ship out alluvial diamonds from Sierra Leone on a regular basis which will augur well for the cash flow of the Company. I look forward to being able to advise on potential shipment of diamonds in the coming weeks," said Executive Chairman, Cyril D' Silva in a statement.

Shares were up 2.4% Friday morning, trading at 11.90 pence per share.
