LONDON (Alliance News) - Greka Drilling Ltd on Wednesday said it has successfully drilled two wells for Essar Oil Ltd on the Raniganj Block in West Bengal, India.
A third well at the project is set to be drilled under the contract and will spud shortly, the oil and gas drilling services firm said.
"We are delighted that the drilling campaign for Essar has started so well, and we look forward to the mobilisation of more rigs in West Bengal over the course of the year," said Randeep Grewal, Greka Drilling's chairman and chief executive.
Greka shares were down 12% to 2.26 pence Wednesday.
