LONDON (Alliance News) - Fastjet PLC late Wednesday confirmed its search for a new chief executive is "well advanced" as it responded to recent media speculation.
"Fastjet notes the recent press speculation about being in discussion regarding a possible CEO appointment. The Company confirms that the search for a new CEO is well advanced and a further announcement will be made in due course," the company said.
Ed Winter resigned as CEO in March along with general counsel Krista Bates, one week after the airline issued a profit warning for 2016.
Fastjet shares were down 0.6% to 25.60 pence per share on Wednesday afternoon.
