Murray International Adds Fenner Corporate Development Head To Board

LONDON (Alliance News) - Murray International Trust PLC on Thursday announced a 11.50 pence first interim dividend as well as a new independent non-executive director of the company, Claire Binyon.

Binyon is currently corporate development director at Fenner PLC and was previously head of strategy & corporate development at DS Smith PLC, and was in a similar role at Cadbury PLC.

Chairman Kevin Carter said: "I would like to welcome Claire to the board. Claire is a chartered accountant who, following an early career in corporate finance in the City, has embarked on a successful career working for global multinationals in areas of corporate development, strategic planning and finance."

Murray International shares closed up 0.5% on Thursday at 1,170.00 pence each.
