LONDON (Alliance News) - Funding Circle SME Income Fund Ltd on Friday said its net asset value per share improved in August.
NAV as at the end of August was GBP329.3 million, up slightly from GBP328.9 million reported at the end of July. NAV per share stood at 98.55 pence and 98.42p, respectively.
The stock was trading 0.2% lower on Friday at 102.25p per share.
Funding Circle declared a dividend of 1.31 pence per share and offered its shareholders to receive payment wither in cash or share via script dividend.
NAV total return in August was 0.1% compared to 0.4% return in July, as a result of an increased impairment charge.
The company said it booked an impairment provision under IFRS 9 accounting system following a drawdown and deployment of its loan facility.
