TRADING UPDATES: Cobra ups Wudinna ownership; DX Group opens new sites

Mon, 24th Apr 2023 17:26

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Monday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

Cobra Resources PLC - Gold, rare earth and IOCG exploration company focused on the Wudinna Project in South Australia - Fulfils obligation through its wholly owned subsidiary, Lady Alice Mines, to allow it to increase its ownership of Wudinna from 65% to 75%. Says that its AUD5 million expenditure from 2019 to January 2023 entitles it to increased ownership. It is now working on an agreement with Andromeda Metals Ltd to implement an ownership structure through which to best advance the project towards feasibility.

----------

Pennpetro Energy PLC - Oil and gas company focusing on production and development in Gonzales County, Texas - Installs high-pressure hydraulic tree and surface oil storage tanks at the Whistling Straits 5H well in the Peach Creek Oil Field. The pump was started last night. Says that a period of clean-up is expected to recover load water added to the well during the drilling of the well and the operator plans to bring the well on slowly.

----------

DX Group PLC - Slough, England-based logistics company - Expands freight-handling capacity with the opening of two new dedicated freight facilities in Warrington and Heathrow. Investment at these two sites takes the number of sites opened, relocated or expanded since the start of the current financial year to eight. The site at Heathrow is a unit vacated by DX Express following its move to a new site in Bracknell and is adjacent to existing freight facilities at Lakeside Road Industrial Estate.

----------

Empire Metals Ltd - London-based minerals explorer and developer with projects in Australia and Austria - Completes maiden drilling programme at Pitfield project in Australia. Says that the drilling programme consisted of 21 holes covering 3,206 metres, and was focused primarily on the Mt Scratch prospect area of the licence where it has identified "an extensive, highly chargeable-highly resistive anomaly". The samples have been sent to an assay laboratory.
