UK EXECUTIVE CHANGE SUMMARY: Fevertree Co-Founder Rolls To Step Down

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Wednesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Fevertree Drinks PLC - tonic water and drinks mixers - Co-Founder Charles Rolls to step down as non-executive deputy chair and from board at June 4 annual general meeting. Rolls founded Fevertree, together with Chief Executive Officer Tim Warrillow, 17 years ago. Rolls "was one of the first to successfully breathe life into the premium gin category with Plymouth Gin and then of course Fever-Tree, so gin & tonic drinkers around the world owe him a great debt of gratitude," Warrillow said on Wednesday. Rolls said: "While I am stepping down from the board, I remain a great supporter and significant shareholder in Fever-Tree and am as passionate about the business as ever."

DS Smith PLC - packaging - Hires Alina Kessel as non-executive director, effective from Friday. Kessel is global client leader at advertising and marketing firm WPP PLC and previously was chief executive officer of Grey Advertising.

Alba Mineral Resources PLC - explorer and developer - Howard Baker steps down as technical director for mining from Tuesday "to devote more time to his mining consultancy practice".

Cenkos Securities PLC - stockbroking and corporate finance - Julian Morse receives clearance from UK Financial Conduct Authority to be executive director. Morse was appointed back in October and was awaiting regulatory approval.

Devro PLC - collagen products - Hire Jeremy Burks as non-executive director, effective from May 1. Burks is executive vice president of Roquette Group, which makes plant-based ingredients and vegetal proteins. Previously spent 20 years with Dow Corning.

Cobra Resources PLC - Promotes Non-Executive Director Greg Hancock to chair. Hires Daniel Maling and David Clarke as non-executive directors, while Rolf Gerritsen will step down. Maling is a partner of Orana Corporate LLP, an accounting and corporate advisory boutique based in London. Clarke was a senior geologist with the Commonwealth Department of the Interior in Australia.

Parity Group PLC - Appoints Integumen PLC CEO Gerry Brandon as non-executive director, from May 1. Brandon also is non-executive chair of Modern Water PLC.

Witan Investment Trust PLC - Andrew Ross steps up to chair at Wednesday's annual general meeting, having joined the board in May 2019 for this purpose. Harry Henderson retires as chair and from board. Richard Oldfield also retires from board. Rachel Beagles is appointed as non-executive director. Beagles is chair of Association of Investment Companies and a non-executive director of a number of investment companies, having worked in equity research for Deutsche Bank AG.
