UK EXECUTIVE CHANGE SUMMARY: Premier Oil And DP Poland Board Changes

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Thursday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Premier Oil PLC - oil and gas company with operations in countries including Mexico, the UK, Vietnam, and Brazil - Appoints three additional directors to board, subject to completion of its proposed merger with Chrysaor Holdings Ltd. All will be independent non-executive directors. Alan Ferguson was finance director of Lonmin, BOC Group and Inchcape PLC. He currently is a non-executive director of AngloGold Ashanti Ltd and of Marshal Motor Holdings PLC, where he is senior independent director. Margareth Ovrum left Equinor this month after working for the Norwegian energy company and its predecessor companies since 1982. She currently is a non-executive director of oil field services firm TechnipFMC PLC. Andy Hopwood retired from BP PLC at the end of last year, having been chief operating officer of Upstream.

DP Poland PLC - Domino's Pizza franchisor in Poland - Piotr Dzierzek joins the board on Friday as chief executive officer, together with two new non-executive directors, Przemyslaw Glebocki and Jakub Chechelski. At the same time, Gerry Ford and Chris Moore resign as non-executive directors. The changes are confirmed after Thursday's general meeting approves issue of 327.5 million new shares for the purchase of Dominium SA, a Polish pizza restaurant group, from Malaccan Holdings Ltd. Malaccan will have 45% of the newly enlarged total shares of DP Poland.

Versarien PLC - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire-based advanced materials engineering - Promotes Stephen Hodge to chief technology officer and board member from head of Research. Hodge had joined Versarien from Cambridge Graphene Ltd in 2018.

Surgical Innovations Group PLC - Leeds-based technology for minimally invasive surgery - Adam Power will retire as development director at the end of 2021 but remain as a non-executive director until the end of 2022.

Okyo Pharma Ltd - London-based biotech firm focused on inflammatory dry eye diseases and chronic pain - Gabriele Cerrone hired as non-executive chair and Gary Jacob as CEO and executive director. Cerrone is founder and executive chair of AIM-listed Tiziana Life Sciences PLC, and he co-founded Nasdaq-listed Cardiff Oncology Inc. He also was co-founder and chair of Synergy Pharmaceuticals Inc and Callisto Pharmaceuticals Inc. Jacob was co-founder, CEO and chair of Synergy and the former CEO of Nasdaq and ASX-listed Immuron Ltd.

Pembroke VCT PLC - venture capital trust focused on companies in design, education, food, beverage & hospitality, wellness, digital services, and media - Hires Mark Stokes and Louise Wolfson as non-executive directors, effective from Friday last week. Stokes is chief commercial officer of London-based specialist lender United Trust Bank and previously was a managing director at Lloyds Corporate & Commercial Banking, part of Lloyds Banking Group PLC, Williams & Glyn, and Metro Bank PLC. Wolfson is a corporate lawyer who was a partner at Allen & Overy LLP and Pinsent Masons LLP.
