Carclo PLC, up 11% at 39.40 pence, 12-month range 3.05p-40.8p. Hits this 12-month high earlier on Tuesday. The firm, focused on engineering for medical, optical and aerospace industries, performs "solidly" in recently-ended financial year. Expects to have maintained CTP division total revenue at broadly similar levels to last year, reduced net debt excluding lease liabilities, and delivered an overall post-tax profit. "Momentum built steadily in the second half of the year with a successful focus on winning new business, operational execution and cash generation," company says.

Danakali Ltd, down 12% at 25p, 12-month range 17.66p-34p. Asks Australian Securities Exchange to halt trading in its shares to undertake a capital raising. Trading on LSE unaffected. Placing will not exceed a level that would require the publication of a prospectus in the UK, resulting in a maximum capacity to issue up to 63 million shares, which would be worth GBP15.8 million at the current share price. "Subject to agreement on timing and priorities with our partners and regulators in Eritrea and the final amount raised, the proceeds of the capital raising will be used by [project joint venture company] CMSC for early works at the company's Colluli [sulfate of potash] project," it says.

Xaar PLC, down 5.1% at 143.00p, 12-month range 41.1p-183p. The inkjet printing technology company reports 2.8% fall in revenue in 2020 to GBP48.0 million from GBP49.4 million generated in 2019, though pretax loss narrows to GBP4.3 million from GBP10.9 million the year ago. "Given the difficult trading environment and the wider economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, the results are positive. There is significant work still required to increase customer trust and capitalise on the many market opportunities, and the ongoing pandemic makes it difficult to provide reliable guidance on the outlook for 2021 and beyond," Xaar says, though adds short-term outlook remains good.
