(Alliance News) - D4T4 Solutions PLC on Tuesday hiked its payout as its revenue jumped by 37% in its most recently ended financial year.
The computer support and services provider said revenue in the year to the end of March was GBP25.2 million, up from GBP18.4 million reported a year earlier, resulting in almost doubled pretax profit of GBP6.3 million compared to GBP3.3 million.
D4T4 Solutions said it has invested in its partner, sales and pre-sales teams, particularly in North America, resulting in the company winning of several "significant" contracts with both new and existing clients. D4T4 Solutions also noted that it has seen an increase in demand for its hybrid cloud data platform services.
The AIM-listed company's own intellectual property product revenue has increased in the year to GBP9.2 million from GBP6.8 million, driven by the increase in sales of both Celebrus customer data platform and hybrid cloud data platform.
D4T4 Solutons' third-party product revenue also increased as a result of the higher sales from its hybrid cloud data platform business to GBP7.4 million from GBP3.9 million a year ago.
Delivery services revenue, meanwhile, enjoyed "good" growth and were underpinned by the increase in sales of the company's own intellectual property products which resulted in revenue of GBP3.2 million, up from GBP2.9 million.
D4T4 Solutions proposed a final dividend of 2.3 pence, up from 1.875p paid the year before. For the year, the company is paying a dividend of 3.0p, up 20% from 2.5p last year.
Looking ahead, Chief Executive Peter Kear said: "The business enters the new financial year in robust shape after closing a number of significant contracts in the second half of the year benefiting 2018-19 and subsequent years. The board is greatly encouraged by the opportunities and outlook for the business."
The stock was trading 4.3% higher on Tuesday at 261.25 pence a share.
