(Sharecast News) - Countryside Properties announced its selection as the preferred development partner of Kingston Council on Thursday, to work with the council and local residents on the regeneration of the Cambridge Road Estate.The FTSE 250 housebuilder said the project would deliver around 2,000 mixed-tenure homes over the next 10-to-12 years."We are thrilled to have been selected and look forward to working with Kingston Council on the next stage of the procurement process to finalise the contracts for this vitally important project," said Graham Cherry, chief executive of Countryside Partnerships South."We have been impressed with the level of commitment from the council and residents in conducting this competitive process."
