LONDON (Alliance News) - Countryside Properties PLC on Friday said it has appointed Simon Townsend as non-executive director of the company with effect from March.
Townsend is currently chief executive officer of Ei Group PLC and non-executive vice chair of the British Beer and Pub Association.
Furthermore, he has worked in the pub and leisure industry for over 25 years in various sales, marketing, commercial and operational roles in Whitbread PLC, Allied Domecq PLC, The Rank Group PLC and Marston's PLC.
Countryside Properties shares were trading 1.1% higher at 308.20 pence each on Friday afternoon.
