Engineering and technology group Corac has received its first commercial offer for its steam expander Spirax Sarco.This follows Corac's acquisition of the steam system management and peristaltic pumping company in March.The group did not give details about the client, but said the order consists of five micro-turbine units and spares package and will be delivered in early 20016.Chief executive Phil Cartmell said: "We are very pleased to report that our agreement with Spirax has moved forward into the next phase with a commercial order."This order builds on the activities carried out over the last three years and begins the commercial exploitation of these products."Shares were down 2.8% to 6.8p on Monday at 15:59.
