EXECUTIVE CHANGES: Quartix hires new CEO; SIMEC Atlantis has new chair

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Wednesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Unilever PLC - London-based consumer goods company - Names Adrian Hennah as a non-executive director, with effect from November 1. Hennah will join the Audit Committee upon appointment. He was previously chief financial officer at Reckitt Benckiser Group PLC for seven years and held the same position at Smith & Nephew PLC and Invensys PLC. Prior to this he spent 18 years at GlaxoSmithKline PLC working in both finance and operations.

Quartix Technologies PLC - Cambridge-based vehicle tracking devices maker - Hires Richard Lilwall to succeed Andy Walters as chief executive officer in early October. Lilwall currently is European managing director of Teletrac Navman, a supplier of vehicle tracking and telematics services and systems. Walters, who co-founded Quartix and has been in post for 20 years, will remain a non-executive director.

SIMEC Atlantis Energy Ltd - Edinburgh-based tidal and hydro energy producer - Former chief financial officer Duncan Black will succeed John Neill as chair from the annual general meeting on August 18. Asia-based Black had re-joined the board back in October, having served as CFO and executive director from 2012 to 2015.

Concurrent Technologies PLC - Colchester, Essex-based maker of embedded computer boards - Promotes Jonathan Martin to CFO and executive director, starting August 1, from financial controller, a role he has been in since 2017. Separately, confirms Managing Director Jane Annear will retire on July 31, following a handover period with Miles Adcock, the company's new CEO, who started in June.

Apollon Formularies PLC - London-based medical cannabis pharmaceutical firm - Appoints Stephen Barnhill Jr and Stene Jacobs as joint chief operating officers. Barnhill, who was a co-founder of Apollon Formularies in the US in 2014, will focus on Jamaica, the Caribbean, and North America. Jacobs, who joined Apollon in December last year as head of Corporate Development, will focus on Europe and Africa.

Wentworth Resources PLC - Tanzania-focused natural gas production - Hires Juliet Kairuki as independent non-executive director, effective immediately. Kairuki is a lawyer who worked for the Banking Association South Africa and Tanzania Investment Centre.
