Centaur Media sees improving trends

Centaur Media, whose specialist publications include Design Week and The Lawyer, saw the decline in revenues ease further over the Christmas period.Revenues were down by 15% from the same period the previous year in the last two months of 2009 compared with a 28% drop in the four months to October 31.The company added that lower revenues had been mitigated by cost-saving initiatives.'While levels of forward visibility remain limited the Board is confident that the fundamental strengths of the Group provide a solid foundation for growth as markets continue to recover during 2010,' Centaur said.
