Components distributor Premier Farnell's strong sales performance in the first four months of financial year 2011 has continued into June, with sales up by 29% year on year. Irish airline Aer Lingus' total passenger numbers in June 2010 were 941,000, down 8.6% on June 2009. Short haul passengers were 849,000, a 7.8% decrease on June 2009 and long haul passengers were 92,000, a 15.6% decrease on June 2009. Aer Lingus' overall load factor in the month was 82.1%, an increase of 0.8 points compared to June 2009, with capacity decreasing by 12.8%. Short haul load factor was 79.7%, down 2.3 points with capacity down by 5.0%. Long haul load factor was 87.2%, up 7 points on 2009, with capacity decreasing by 25.8%. Anti-bacteria specialist Byotrol's joint venture, Byotrol Consumer Products, has signed a joint development agreement with McBride, to develop a liquid hard surface cleaner targeted at the consumer markets in UK and Ireland. Oak Holdings said chairman Malcolm Savage has resigned with immediate effect. Mike Woodcock has been appointed executive chairman.Veterinary-focused drug group Dechra Pharmaceuticals said revenue for the year ended 30 June 2010 was approximately 5.3% ahead of the equivalent period last year.Anglo Asian Mining rose after it posted record quarterly gold production figures of 14,836 ounces at Gedabek. Total production for the first year of operation was 39,858 oz gold ('Au') exceeding Company's 25,000 oz Au forecast.Support services group Northern Bear dropped as it posted pre-tax losses of £1.1m from £2.8m profit in the previous year. Turnover fell to £35m from £41.8m before. Qonnectis shares were reinstated after the remote meter reading technology firm released its final results for the 18 month period to December 2009. Revenue fell to £55,000 against £456,000 from the 12 months to June 2008. Losses narrowed to £1.6m from £3.7m though.
