Online betting games software developer Cryptologic continues to lose money even though it has cut its costs. Third quarter revenues slumped from $9.59m to $6.1m. The loss rose from $3.41m to $3.82m in the three months to September 2010. Net cash fell from $17.4m to $12.3m over the third quarter. The operations in Cyprus have all been transferred to Malta. There should be further benefits from costs savings in the fourth quarter but Cryptologic has to increases its revenues in order to move back into profit. Shares in Kofax have risen following the purchase of 15,000 shares by non-executive director Chris Conway.He paid 260p a share so his total investment in the document services provider was £39,000. Conway owns 265,000 shares. BT increased earnings forecasts for the full-year after bumping up profits by 13% during the second quarter.
