John Wood Wins USD500 Million Contract Offshore Azerbaijan From BP

LONDON (Alliance News) - John Wood Group PLC Thursday said it has secured a new five-year contract worth around USD500.0 million to deliver services to eight facilities that are part of projects operated by oil major BP PLC offshore Azerbaijan.

Through Wood Group PSN, the company will immediately begin supplying engineering, procurement and construction management services under the contract, which also carries an option to extend the deal by two to four years.

The oilfield service company's other division, Wood Group Kenny, is already providing subsea

engineering services to the eight platforms operated by BP under a contract signed back in October 2015.
