LONDON (Alliance News) - Africa-focused oil and gas firm Bowleven PLC on Friday said it has secured a one-year extension to the licence covering the Bomono area in Cameroon.
The extension to the existing exploration licence has been granted pending the final award of an exploitation authorisation, Bowleven said.
The interim extension ensures Bowleven's interest in the project is maintained while it continues talks with Cameroon authorities on the exploitation authorisation.
Bowleven shares were up 1.2% to 22.00 pence Friday.
