LONDON (Alliance News) - Baillie Gifford Japan Trust PLC Tuesday said it has issued 250,000 new shares in the trust at a price of 466.0 pence per share.
The trust said it issued the new shares due to demand in the market at a premium to the prevailing net asset value, and according to an Alliance News calculation, the trust raised under GBP1.2 million before expenses.
Baillie Gifford shares were down 0.1% to 464.12 pence per share on Tuesday afternoon.
