(Alliance News) - The following stocks are the leading risers and fallers on AIM in London on Tuesday.
----------
AIM - WINNERS
----------
Avingtrans PLC, up 8.5% at 434.00 pence, 12-month range 211.53p-434.50p. The critical components supplier says its Stainless Metalcraft has received planning permission for the new training school to be located at its Chatteris site, with work due to begin on construction imminently. Stainless Metalcraft is part of Avingtrans's Process Solutions & Rotating Equipment division.
----------
Avacta Group PLC, up 7.0% at 186.25p, 12-month range 88.66p-291.80p. The diagnostics and cancer therapies developer says a study has shown that its AffiDX antigen lateral flow test detects the Delta variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus in clinical samples. "In comparison with other lateral flow tests on the market, Avacta's rapid antigen test demonstrates better clinical performance," it says.
----------
AIM - LOSERS
----------
Caspian Sunrise PLC, down 15% at 2.20p, 12-month range 1.40p-3.49p. The Central Asian oil and gas company swings to pretax loss in 2020 of USD1.7 million from a USD941,000 profit in 2019. Caspian posts 2020 revenue of USD14.3 million, up from USD12.1 million in 2019. Looking ahead, it says: "The financial outlook has improved when compared to the position 12 months ago but not yet to the point where the material uncertainty in respect of going concern highlighted in the 2019 financial statements and the 2020 interim statements has fully receded."
----------
React Group PLC, down 10% at 2.97p, 12-month range 0.90p-3.80p. The cleaning, hygiene and decontamination firm notes a slowdown in its reactive emergency cleaning business as the UK moves towards the lifting of lockdown restrictions. React says Covid decontamination work has been reducing and that the more typically reactive emergency cleaning work has been slow to pick up for the six months ended March 31. Contract maintenance work has performed well, with little or no impact from the pandemic.
