Aberdeen New Thai, the Thailand focused investment trust, said its net asset value (NAV) per share at the end of November was 192.2p, up from 181.85p at the end of August. Sky Betting and Gaming (SB&G), part of pay TV broadcaster BSkyB has renewed its exclusive agreement with identity management specialist GB Group for a further three years. Electronic and physical security systems provider Newmark Security saw profit before tax rise to £0.88m in the six months to 31 October from £0.79m, on revenue that grew to £6.99m from £6.70m.'With the number of projects in hand, the board believes that the prospects for the second half are encouraging at the present time,' the company's chairman, Maurice Dwek, said.Mining and exploration holding company Sirius Exploration saw losses before tax widen to £0.66m n the six months to 30 September from a loss of £0.54m a year earlier as it concentrated on building up a portfolio of assets. Revenue remained at zero.Shares in Gasol fell back after the Africa-focused gas group saw losses widen to £3.4m in the six months to September 30 from £1.6m over the same period the previous year as economic conditions remained tough.Shares in Nano lit up after the maker of quantum dots, which are used in LEDs, said it is making good progress across the business.
