
(Alliance News) - Alternative Income REIT PLC on Wednesday said its annual net asset value has fallen, amid high inflation, rising interest rates and low rental growth.

Chair Simon Bennett says: "The board is pleased to declare a third interim dividend of 1.425 pence per share for the last quarter, which is 101% covered by earnings. This is in line with the board's previously announced annual dividend target of at least 5.9pps for the financial year ending 30 June 2024, which remains subject to continued strong rent collection."

The company says that this rent target remains contingent on "continued strong rent collection". As of December 31, Alternative Income's 19-property portfolio was valued at GBP103.3 million, up from GBP99.6 million on September 30. The properties' value decreased by GBP1.4 million on a like-for-like basis, and the company says that the portfolio remains "relatively insulated from market fluctuations".
