LONDON (Alliance News) - Alpha FX Group PLC on Monday said it appointed Matt Knowles as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect.
The foreign exchange services provider said Knowles co-founded HiFX in 1998 and during his tenure as chief executive officer, led the business through an management buyout and a number of acquisitions before its sale in 2014 to Nasdaq-listed Euronet Inc.
"Matt is a great addition to our board and I'm looking forward to working with him," said Chief Executive Morgan Tillbrook.
"He not only understands our industry and its dynamics, but also has valuable experience leading a rapidly growing company domestically and internationally," added Tillbrook.
Shares in Alpha FX were trading 1.6% lower on Monday at 625.00 pence each.
