UK TRADING UPDATE SUMMARY: Bitcoin Miner Argo In Monthly Revenue Rise

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of updates by London-listed companies, issued on Thursday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Argo Blockchain PLC - UK-based cryptocurrency miner - Mines 115 bitcoin or equivalent in Novmeber, down from 126 in October. "The reduction in the number of coins mined in November compared to October is due to changes in mining difficulty and the Zcash halving which took place on November 17. This takes the total amount of BTC mined year-to-date to 2,369," Argo adds. Based on daily exchange rate, mining revenue in November was GBP1.5 million, up from GBP1.2 million in October.

Iconic Labs PLC - media company - Announces JOE Media unit secures contracts worth more than GBP750,000. "The contracts are with clients in a number of sectors including gambling, video games, online music streaming," Iconic adds.

Nucleus Financial Group PLC - Edinburgh-based financial wrap platform - Aquiline Capital Partners LLC says it does not plan to make offer for Nucleus after "highly preliminary discussions".

Invinity Energy Systems PLC - vanadium flow batteries manufacturer - Plans placing to raise GBP20.5 million and further GBP2 million through open offer. Says 11.7 million shares placed at 175 pence each in placing, 1.1 million in open offer. "Funds raised will be used to scale up production capabilities to meet commercial demand, execute on sales pipeline and thereby assist in driving down unit costs," Invinity says.

Volution Group PLC - Crawley, England-based supplier of ventilation products to the residential and commercial construction markets - Pens sustainability-linked revolving credit facility. The GBP150 million loan, with a GBP30 million accordion facility, replaces a GBP120 million loan. Facility runs for three years until December 2023, with option for two-year extension.

Jupiter UK Growth Investment Trust PLC - investment trust - Updates on wind-down measures. Agrees to proposals with Brown Advisory Funds PLC to offer Jupiter shareholders a choice of roll over investment in Jupiter to new shares to be issued by a sub-fund of Brown, or electing for a normal cash exit.

Global Petroleum Ltd - oil and gas company focused on Africa and the Mediterranean - Recently bought historic 2D seismic data of PEL0094 licence, Namibia. Also acquired historic data from underexplored eastern part of block. "The company expects the interpretation of this data significantly to enhance the prospectivity already identified in this area," Global Petroleum says.

Cobra Resources PLC - exploration and mining company focused on the Wudinna gold project in Australia - Reports "significant high-grade gold intercepts" at Clarke deposit at Wudinna. "Given we still have 80% of the assay results still to come, we are very excited about these initial high-grade intersections at Clarke which have positive indications for the future of the Wudinna project," Director Craig Moulton says.

Active Energy Group PLC - London-headquartered biomass-based renewable energy business - Says Player Design Inc appointed in September to complete engineering and construction process of CoalSwitch reference plant at Lumberton site. Active Energy sources additional equipment and begins procurement process. "Construction crews will commence work in January 2021 with commissioning of the plant expected during Q2 2021," Active Energy adds.

Landore Resources Ltd - Canada-focused minerals explorer - Says drilling programme at BAM gold deposit, Canada, progressing as planned. Adds that 15 drill holes completed to date. Says gold prices surge in 2020 has meant more exploration in Canada, causing a backlog of sampling. "As a result the time now expected for full analysis has doubled to 6-7 weeks from delivery to the laboratory," Landore adds.
