LONDON (Alliance News) - Anglo African Oil & Gas PLC on Monday said it completed the set-up of the SMP-102 rig at its TLP-103 well in the Republic of Congo.
The oil & gas developer said pre-drill rig inspections are underway by both an international rig inspection company and drilling contractor SMP Drilling.
Anglo African Oil & Gas said it expects to start drilling the well on Wednesday, which will take 64 days to complete.
"I look forward to validating the hard work that has gone towards getting to this point and updating the market on spud," said Chief Executive Officer James Berwick.
Shares in Anglo African Oil & Gas were trading 0.4% higher on Monday at 12.045 pence per share.
