Wed, 11th Sep 2019 11:47

(Alliance News) - Anglo African Oil & Gas PLC has restarted re-entry operations at a well on the Tilapia field in the Republic of Congo, it said Wednesday.

This work has begun ahead of drilling a side track well. Engineers have stabilised the well, AAOG said, and an isolation plug is to be installed to ensure the necessary barriers in the well are in place.

The company is in talks with two potential rigs with a view to securing a drilling slot in November, it said.

Shares were 6.9% higher on Wednesday in London at 3.87 pence each.
