Frontera Resources Chief Executive Zaza Mamulaishvili confirmed to London South East that a new drilling programme begins tonight on the Tiribani Field Block 12, in the south west of Georgia close to the Azerbajan border. The deepening of T45 starts tonight and will take a month, plus two more sidewells will be drilled by the end of April. Approximately 800/1,000 bpd are expected to be produced and the cost of the programme is expected to be recovered within a year. The field has a potential 100 million bpd of recoverable oil.
