LONDON, Sept 28 (Reuters) - Andrew Hauser, the Bank of England's executive director for markets, has cancelled a speech he was due to give on Thursday on reducing the size of the central bank's balance sheet.
Organisers MNI Connect said the speech - titled "Running down the hill: managing QE unwind" - would no longer take place in London on Sept. 29.
Earlier on Wednesday the BoE said it was postponing the start of its programme of gilt sales to the market, which it had planned to start next week, due to dysfunction in the British government bond market. (Reporting by David Milliken, Editing by Kylie MacLellan)
