Hi Peter-m, You have the option to type in the quantity you wish to sell when you click on the 'sell' button next to your holding with in your portfolio. Best wishes

Sophie, There is no sell button on the old portfolio, only add share.

Hi again Peter-M, Apologies. Unfortunately the old portfolio is quite basic, hence the new updated portfolio. You are unable to sell part of your holding, the only way of doing this is deleting it from your old portfolio, and adding back the required amount. Apologies for any inconvenience. Best wishes

Is it possible to add a broader range of shares codes outwith the London SX, as I also hold both US and Canadian listed stock. Another advantage would be a mobile platform which can list all the shares in your portfolio alomng with current values - for on the move and when on holiday. Agree that the old system is easier to use, on that system, could you introduce a tab, re increasing/lowering shares amounts, rather than having to delete the stock and re-enter it every time you make an adjustment in stock buys/sells. Thanks

how about three + number tick/colour boxes beside each share for reference purposes, for example: based on strong hold; hold; possibly sell: ?, each person could then give each box a heading and colour

Good morning Stephen-, Thanks for your ideas and feedback. Unfortunately we are not currently looking to expand our listings in to other exchanges. As for the mobile platform, this is something we are in the process of developing at the moment. We hope to have it up and running in the not too distant future. We will be advising site members when this happens. In regards to increasing / lowering shares on your portfolio, you do not need to sell the stock each time. If you click on 'Sell', you can then just select the amount in which you've sold. For example, you hold 1000 Lloyds, you can put the sell amount of 100 shares and click 'Go'. On the next page you can also adjust the price if you sold at a different price to what is displayed. All this will then be adjusted on your portfolio to show 900 shares at the price of... This is the same for buying shares, if you already have Lloyds for example again, you can click buy shares, and type in the ticker again and the amount of share increased, this will then add to the holding you already have on the portfolio. I have passed on your last idea to the development team to see if this is something that could work on the site. I know the spacing on each row however is limited, so unsure if it would work in that sense. Any other questions or ideas, don't hesitate to contact us. Many thanks

I really like new system , like the way you can see how much you are up/down as day goes on . Noticed last few evenings once market is shut it all goes to zero so you don't know how much you have made that day ! Please fix !!!!

Hi paddybear, Thanks for the message and bringing this to our attention. I have passed it on to the tech team to check after market close and then look in to further on Monday. All the best

Hi paddybear, The tech team have done a couple of checks and are still receiving the profit/loss. Please can you clarify when this happens, rough times? Mid week or just weekends? Thanks

Hi Guys, I am a great lover of your website and just want to say well done for aking it user friendly. One quick point that I am having an issue with is the "add stock to portfolio" found in the blue arrow screen on the left hand side when you open up any share data. It would be 100% user friendly if when you pressed this button if 3 things happened. 1. the "ticker code" field was automatically populated 2. the "cost price" field was the current ask price 3. this is the most important, you could select which of your existing portfolios the stock was going to show in. At the moment it creates a separate portfolio which does not show in your portfolio list. If you already have this in place my apologies and keep up the good work.

Hi atchey, Thanks for your feedback and ideas, always appreciated! As for the 'Add to Portfolio' icon, we have in fact removed this icon now. After you highlighted this to us, we noticed errors with it, and only links to the Old Portfolios, which is why you were unable to add them on to the current portfolio layout. After talking with the development team, changing the feature to be able to add the to the new current portfolios is not a quick easy thing to develop, hence why the button has been removed. I have however left it with them to look in to in the future. Unfortunately it is not something that will be added in the near future however. Having said this, by adding shares to your portfolio directly from the portfolio page, is a quick and easy process. We also have the 'Watchlist' icon, which works fine and is great to keep an eye on those shares that interest you. All the best

Hi, On the advanced portfolio. I have entered about 20 transactions (I have another hundred to go!)
You should be able to import .CSV files.
The 'Portfolio Over Time' AND 'Portfolio Holdings Over Time' tabs only show todays date so are essentially blank for the past..
You cannot enter old stocks that don't exist anymore, i.e. BPC or G4S.
Yes it is way too fiddly and doesn't show the portfolio over time which is essentially what I wanted.. So now I shall stop and not revisit it. I'll look for a better alternative.
