Sorry CSDI, I never followed Red Brace Brigade for I mostly use my mobile phone for trading, chatting and online shopping ect ect. Therefore I can only go up to page 4 with my not so up to date cheap old mobile. The thread Red Brace Brigade has already gone up to many pages. I can't read any of the new messages without turning on my desktop PC. I may have a look later and see what you guys were talking about.....lol

Morning Sidi
found you've have relocated to episode 2 already LOL.
My morning check of p/f shows Red is more prominent again R6 B4 G2. Down a small amount at the mo, with FTSE down more. My SUK2 is best blue today. Notice SYME up over 7% accord to HL site.
Dont know how you do so much on a phone. My phone is for talking and text only, and although does have internet I hardly know how to use that. Always using office computer or laptop with bigger screens. Better for looking at charts at comparing news on different shares etc.
Time to start case that was due to start on Tuesday - my bigest case of month - so got nearly 3 days work to catch up with. I have recruited an assistant for next week with Mrs CSDI helping with two days and the 19 y/o taking on postal duty too which frees me up for about 30 mins a day - so helps getting a little more productivity out of me.
time for 10am cuppa me thinks, then phones off so cannot be interupted.
Take care and good luck my friend.

Hahahaha, mobile phones can do a lot of thing nowadays my friend. If you have an iPhone then you can do even more but I only got a cheap normal mobile bought almost three years ago. In fact it can do as much as a computer but only with a smaller screen. I used to play online games with it when I first bought it. Now, I am using it to do anything without turning on my desktop PC. As I have already told you that now I only use my PC once a year for self-assessment tax return.
Yup, it's another massacre to my portfolio today. Only SYME is blue(only for the time being). Most of my other shares are vomitting blood right now. Needless to say, our four bad behaving dogs are now quite sick. It's going to be a horrible day once again if the situation will not improve.....(crying emoji face)
Anyway, enjoy your work and hope that you will be able meet your deadline without any problems.

Hello Sidi,
Just done my weekly recky and I'm only down 0.9% which I guessed was coming after the great start to the year.
Compared to FTSE drop of 2% over the week I am very pleased.
Not many would be happy with a weekly loss - but there you go !
nice to GSK going up a little for a change, esp as I have 19% of my p/f in that.
My little SUK2 short is in the money, but not enough to matter as only 3.5% of p/f.
I think all the miners took a hit today, as CEY was down 3% - a terrible run since I topped up last week. It's gone down EVERY day since - a typical CSDI purchase with immaculate timing.
That wont do your GGP any good, but at least SYME had a bounce back.
Hope you stayed out of ARB today - down 9%. I am not sure what to make of these bitcoin derivatives.
If you like a gamble, could get rich or broke just as easy.
My p/f held up really well today - only down about £70. Could do with some good days to get it going.
For me it only needs IMB, GSK, RDSB and AV to perform well as that is 60% of my p/f.
For you GGP is the elephant in the room. Let's hope it grows and takes the ceiling out LOL
Have a great weekend my friend.
More work beckons - I had kept Sunday free to have a rest - but will have to work to have any chance of meeting all deadlines. My top line (turnover) is well ahead of target so far this month, yet I am well behind the schedule. Bodes well if I can complete the timetable.

Good evening, just what I was feared of. It was a total blood bath of my portfolio. The disaster week ended with huge losses for me and a terrible start to 2021!
How wonderful that your shares were bucking the trend and ended the week in positive territory. That's what I said that you are far more insightful than me. You managed to build a better portfolio that can out perform the markets. Very well done my friend. I am greedy with a get rich quick scheme and built a very poor and unbalanced portfolio, which consists of too many risky shares. That's how I keep on losing and under perform the markets for years but I still haven't learned a thing that I totally deserve it!!!.....lol
....But never, let's look forward to next week. Hope that the tide will turn..... hahahaha
Have a nice evening.....see you on Monday morning.

Sidi, excuse me commenting as this looks like a private conversation but I notice that you too hold ARB and GGP.
ARB I am new to as I only bought them for the first time a week ago, one of those shares I have meant to buy for a long time. I don't think I will be a long term holder but I do believe it has got a special appeal and will do well.
GGP on the other hand I have held for 9 months and have even started trading a percentage of my holding. It seems to be treading water at the moment, even slipping back somewhat. Expected news seems overdue now but when it arrives I think will will see 38 to 40p or more. That news should come anytime now.
I mostly post on the Red Braces chatroom. I know the problem using a mobile phone with these "reverse" chat boards, they definately need a "Last Page" button on the mobile phone pages so we can get to the latest comments quickly. Good luck with your investments.

Thank you for your feedback SadAct my friend. I did buy ARB but panicked and sold a few days ago. As for GGP, which I have bought last year(or maybe just before last year) with an average of 2.633p. Therefore I am in good profit at the moment but it seems that kind of run of steam right now. Like you said, it needs more news to propel the SP to the next level. As the matter of fact, I am still full of confidence that it still has plenty of legs and it's why I haven't sold a single shares yet, hoping that it can be double from here. So, I wish you(us) the very best and let's celebrate together when it has fulfilled our dreams one day......lol
Goodnight my friend.

Good morning CSDI my friend.
The long weekend is over and we are back in action once again in less than 2 hours time. I know this is your busiest time of the year but I still hope that you had good breaks in between.
Markets-wise, it doesn't look too promising at the moment with the FTSE100 future currently down a bit. The oil is also down too. Apart from that, the bitcoin also had a bad weekend too. It has dropped quite a bit since last Friday closed. ARB probably will open down this morning....lol
Well anyway, I wish you will have a good start to your shares. Now, I am getting out of bed and make my big mug of coffee. Catch you up later.

good eveing S-i-d-i
A later finish than planned tonight at 10pm, after a 11pm finish last night !
I think I am catching up now as only one day behind. Two new prospective clients over the weekend.
As usual they want tax returns filing for 31st Jan - they've had all year to sort something and come to you ar worse possible time, esp for a one man band like me. Mrs CSDI and both boys helping today, so managed to claw back some of the arrears of work. Tomorrows scheduled case has not been delivered by the client, so I might be able to get up to date so to speak.
Sunday was scheduled as a complete rest day, but worked 10-1 and then 6.30-11pm. Had a good walk with Mrs CSDI and then watched/listened to the football - which was a waste of time !!
Looking at the p/f close today another poor day - with 8 reds and 4 blues - with red much bigger values - yuck.
Glad I am not holding ARB and SYME today. At least GGP held its own.
I've not yet withdrawn my divis from last qtr and thinking about selling a portion of my RDSB and moving it to BP with my added divis. VOD is my smallest FTSE100 share but not keen on topping that one up yet. I think "big oil" is a better recovery play than VOD. My trade with CEY has been a disaster since topping up at 133p - its gone down every day - and need a change of mood music there with Q4 production results out tomorrow. Any poor news I think I might take a loss and look for another trade play, such as SYME. Might looked at a bombed out share like PFC or RR too see if any base being built yet for a recovery. I need to be careful as not best time for me to be trading in middle of my busiest work time.
I wish I could bring you some good luck and a change of recent fortune - it would help us both.
As you say - tomorrow is another day and got to be in it to win it. So good luck and take care my friend

Morning my friend.
Wow, I have no ideas how busy you are this time of the year. I am glad that I chose a lazy and easy job. Although I retired very poor, I managed to do it at 57! I have already enjoyed 13 years of retirement. Of course I can't afford much luxury stuff but I love living way this way. Therefore I am actually enjoying myself very much. I hope you will have a nice retirement when your time comes. You totally deserve it since you are working yourself so hard!
Markets-wise, needless to say, I had another disaster day, 8 reds 1 blue and 1 unchanged. Oh my, what a poor start to 2021! Today it looks a bit better so far. Our four sick dogs are all blue, what a change !! .....but for how long? Can it last or will it turn red at the end of the day?
As for my 3 risking shares, GGP stayed unchanged, TED was the only one blue but SYME continue to drift down. My last top-up now has turned red. I may have made a mistake but GGP was doing the same after I have bought it. So, I got to have a little faith here. As the saying goes:" Good things come to those who wait!"........ hahahaha
Have a great day my friend. Not long to go now before Jan 31 now, hope that you'll meet all your deadline my friend.
Right, it's time for my big mug of coffee.....lol

Good morning my friend
Late starts all round. Your coffee normally on the go long before I decide to get out of bed.
With Mrs CSDI off work this morning, a chance for a bit of a "lye-in".
I've just sold my SUK2 position as going nowhere. The FTSE holding its own for now. No doubt that will be trigger for steep fall, but I hope not.
Thinking about what to add, but will leave alone until can think more clearly.
Good to see GGP picking up today - will give your p/f big boost
For me, it is 8 blue, 2 red, 1 green so far but not making any impact. CEY at least +2.5% today is my best, but got a lot of work to do to make up for losing every day since buying on 7th Jan.
Good for you with lifestyle if it makes you happy - that's all that matters.
I am lazy most of the year, so have to work hard for few weeks. Could make it easier for myself if I did more sooner in the year. But Leopards don't change their spots - and Mrs CSDI does nag me to get ahead as always worries if I become ill in January every year. Maybe a little change over next 12 months, if she comes back to work with me like we did 2001-2003.
It would only need about one day a week and she would make a huge difference sorting out a lot of the non productive admin. My pension nowhere near enough to replace my job, so work for many years yet. Still have big mortgage until 65 as we both started from scratch after difficult divorces.
Right better get crackin' as had a nice quiet start to the day.
Catch you later and good luck
Cheers - CSDI

Hello S-i-d-i
I've been a very naughty boy today and been playing with my shares !
sold SUK2 this morning - as wasn't moving - so complete waste of time with breaking even
sold one batch of RDSB for a miniscule profit (<1%), and bought BP with this money + my divis money @301p, so have increased my % of oil from just under 11% to 12.5%.
and then did a risky purhcase of PFC @ 112.5p. Just over 2.5% of p/f so no problem if goes pear shaped.
Ended the day with 8 blues and 5 reds, but overall value dropped a little again.
Annoying when p/f goes down with more winners than losers - but that is due to the big value holdings not doing well.
So 12 sessions into new year, I have 6 up and 6 down days, but lucky the FTSE is up 4% and my p/f is matching !
At least our 4 dogs all behaved today, and note that GGP up a little too - hope that means a better day for you than me.
Catch you late on, Cheers

Good evening CSDI my friend.
Just had my tea. Now it's time for my Netflix. Been watching a Turkish medieval times drama about the struggles of a Seljuk Turkish tribe against the crusaders and the Mongols. It started off quite interesting but then turned into over dramatic with too many prolong unnecessary scenes and also too many conspiracies. 5 series, each series contains more than 80 episodes one even got over 110 episodes. All got too political, although I love history, it's just getting too much for me. Therefore I have stopped watching it. Now I need to find some new stuff to watch.....hahahaha
Well yes, it's another Groundhog Day for my shares. Half up and half down; 5 blue 5 red. Total value would be about break even. Kind of losing interest now. Thinking of stop watching for a few days then come back to check and see if there will be any improvements.
If you don't see me posting here then you should know that I am temporarily offline........lol
Have a nice evening my friend.

That's a good idea. As investors there is no need to look all the time.
for me, I can have 3 looks a day - one 9am, one around lunch, one around market close.
For day traders it is more useful to be monitoring all day.
sometimes it's good to change the scenery and have a break.
Enjoy your netflix, and catch up whenever it suits you.
You don't have to say, but I know can be very repetitive as that is my nature.
Just be glad you don't have to put up with me every day like Mrs CSDI.
Take care, keep safe. All the best

Hi Sidi
Noticed you were "up and about" today - divi talking on IMB.
Hope you are well and keeping that chin up.
I am struggling on thru my January slogathon and still 2 days behind schedule.
Just about to start my next case - oh the joys of figures and Tax Returns.
My p/f not doing well at all this week. Today was 7 reds, 6 blues, with reds being much bigger unfortunately.
Hope to pick up some p/f ideas off Alas_Smith, who seems to have a good handle on things.
Tara for now - back after work.
Cheers - CSDI

Good evening S-i-d-i-
Just to wish you an enjoyable weekend, with Netflix.
Have a rest from shares and chill out with a nice mug of coffee.
I had an early finish tonight at about 8.30 and had a long chat with one of my chess friends - nice to talk again about my favourite hobby. My club is arranging an international match vs Nairobi next month - a new adventure for us.
Take care my friend and I trust all is well

Hello S-i-d-i-
Just wanted to check all is ok in SIDI-land.
I am able to relax a little now as HMRC granted a 28 day grace for the 31st January deadline.
Still got plenty to do, as been behind my schedule all month, but can safely move work to next week without penalty now.
I have just been watching my club play two chess matches in the 4NCL, with one winning and one losing by same scores.
I will be playing my first game of chess this year on Thursday, playing against the No. 1 seed in a 5 round all-play-all competition. I have volunteered to play in a section with the best players just to even up the numbers. I will be lucky to score as many pts as Sheff Utd did in their first 5 matches of the season LOL.
Think my p/f has been drifiting down over the last week or so, but I have added another small trade with PFC.
Expect to sit on my hands for a while now unless something suddenly jumps up or down.
Have you been looking after our dogs as I've not been able to watch them recently.
Trust all is well and wish you good luck as always with the shares.
Take care my friend

Hello S-i-d-i
Another week of radio silence has been maintained and I hope you are keeping safe and well.
If you have been watching from the distance, you will see I have taken my first plunge with GGP - just a modest 8K shares.
Hope I have not put the mockers on it for you LOL.
Take care - CSDI
