Yes it seems we are in the same boat then fella. Maybe well get to know a little more as time passes.
Ive been here for years too and its so very frustrating, i wish they'd offer a little more on the share price,
I wonder whats prompting them to offer a buyback just now, do they know something we don't?
Or do they want to give us long suffering investors something back for getting them on their feet.?
Im hoping well be able to trade them on asset match after all is said and done.
I'm in a similar boat Long Trek ?! They don't really make clear the situation after the offer either , are the remaining shares then worth the 2,5 p as the offer price ( there should be half the shares of now in circulation ) and will they still be tradeable on asset match after the offer . i don't really want to sell at the offer price but a bird in the hand......?
Anyone out there throw any more light on the situation or there own thoughts on it ??
I have been here for years and would like a bigger return than the offer price but also don't want to wait years and years for it ????
Anyone got an opinion ?
Yes i read it the other day, does seem interesting,
but id have to buy a bucket load more shares in order to average down,
as my share price average is way higher then what they're offering,
otherwise it wouldn't be worth it for me.
Not sure what to do just yet....

Yes thanks for the info fella. I did have a look at the RNS. Things are looking slightly better for Zincox in Vietnam but im still underwater here. Lets hope they can identify other projects and bring in other income streams as this company badly needs it.

Did you see this Long Trek ZincOx Resources plc (ZincOx or the Company) is pleased to announce that on 16 th April 2018 it entered into a Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) with Korea Zinc Company Limited (KZC) in regard to the Companys interest in Zinc Oxide Corporation Vietnam (ZOCV), the company established to develop the Vietnamese Recycling and Upgrading Plant (VRUP). The Company has, on the same date, entered into a Technical Assistance and Marketing Support Agreement (TAMSA) with ZOCV, in order to provide support for VRUP. Under the SPA KZC has agreed to pay USD 1,250,000 for ZincOxs 49% interest in ZOCV, by 30th April 2018. Under the TAMSA, ZOCV has agreed to pay, by 15thMay 2018: - USD 1,184,210 as an upfront technical assistance fee - a lump sum Licence Fee of USD 500,000 less tax In addition, it has agreed to pay two further sums in the future: - the sum of USD 284,210, per annum, for a period of eight years, commencing on commercial production from VRUP. The annual payments could be postponed in the event that ZOCV has no profit after tax in any one year. - a marketing support fee of USD 2.84 per metric tonne of industrial quality zinc oxide chemical sold will be paid for a period of five years from the commencement of commercial production, which is expected to amount to about $85,000 per annum. The proceeds from the sale will be added to the Companys existing funds and used to identify and progress other projects
Im still holding here, just wondering when any good news via an RNS may come out. Anything happening in Vietnam yet?
HOPE THIS BODES WELL FOR US
Makes you wonder why they didn't sell that land back when they were in trouble. Could have bailed themselves out and kept the plant..... Idiots?
All good still , although i think i may be the only one still invested here i'm now nicely in profit (on paper ) recent e-mail from Asset match : Please find below the final order book for the ZincOx Resources auction that closed today at 4pm. In total 65,851 shares traded at 0.90 pence per share. Good luck to any LTH still out there
RNS out .... looks interesting , that Turkish cash must have been burning a hole in their pockets !!
RNS out ZincOx Resources plc (ZincOx or the Company) is pleased to announce that it has disposed of 41,212 square metres of its land holding in the Aliaga Heavy Industrial Zone, for the sum of TRY 14,352,136 (US$ 4 million), which will be subject to Turkish taxes. The Company is now seeking advice on the most efficient manner for this amount to be repatriated. The Group retains a land holding of 9,638 square metres, which continues to be marketed. Commenting on the announcement, Andrew Woollett, ZincOxs CEO, said: I am pleased that we have been able to realise the sale of this land at a significant premium to its carrying value and it gives the Company the opportunity to more actively pursue a number of projects Nice bit of extra cash in the bank , every litle helps ?!
this from the half yearly results ( 6th Sept ' ) As the rules of the AIM market meant that the shares in the Company could no longer be admitted to trading, the Company set up an arrangement with Asset Match where shares could continue to be traded through quarterly auctions (www.assetmatch.com). To date, two such auctions have occurred, in the first 172,436 shares were traded at a price of 0.66 pence and in the second, which closed on 23 August, 1,269,547 shares traded at a price of 0.65 pence. Careful consideration is being given as to the frequency of the auctions. These could be held more often but we have been strongly advised that it would be sensible to see an increase in volumes traded before the Company decides to do this, so that in any auction there are sufficient bidders and sellers to create a realistic price. Interestingly that puts me only slightly underwater , could be worse . Go ZOX
The Company is currently carrying out a Definitive Development Study funded by KZC with the aim of completing it in Q3 2017 so that a development decision can be made before the end of 2017. So we await news Thats all i know shoreline ? Ooooh and this Should you wish to buy or sell ZincOx Resources shares, please register with Asset Match at www.assetmatch.com. seem to be selling for around .6 ish , not bad ? I'm sure that hasn't helped but it's so rare to see anyone in here i thought i should do my bit . GO ZOX !!!!!!! GL
Anyone heard anything about ZOX lately ?
Good afternoon, No doubt many of you will have picked up the latest RNS from the company stating that they have put in place a share trading facility following their AIM cancellation (link below). http://zincox.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/170427-Delisting-from-Aim-and-joining-AssetMatch-FINAL.pdf We are certainly here to help, so please feel free to contact us on Tel: 020 7248 2788 or alternatively ben.weaver@assetmatch.com should you need any further assistance. Kind regards, Ben Weaver
long winded rns . Tried to throw us a bone with this ; The Group’s capital management objectives are: • to increase the value of the assets of the business, • to provide an adequate return to shareholders in the future when assets are taken into production, and • to ensure the Group’s ability to continue as a going concern But nothing going to happen to my dead money for quite some time as far as i read it !? :-(
......we are back in business. A fresh start with proven technology. Could be rolled out all over the world :)
As has been explained in our press releases, following the disposal of 90% of our interest in KRP in 2015, under the Stock Exchange rules, our shares could not continue to be listed on AIM and will be officially delisted on 28 April 2017. We appreciate that this has been a great frustration to many of our shareholders but we are taking steps for the shares to be traded on an online market place so as to provide some means of buying and selling shares and shareholders will be informed of the trading mechanism in due course. The Company will need to have a substantial and certain project before it can seek to have its shares listed again. Furthermore this needs to be a project that will appeal to a broad spectrum of investors if the share price is to be supported which, in the current climate for commodities, probably means it being close to or having positive cash flow.
.....in to see if there's anything new. Just a matter of time until we get underway again :)
Find any news on what exactly is happening RE our suspension and the new venture ? We dont have long to go until the 31st of April when we will be forced to leave AIM !! Some good news ZOX please ?
Exciting times ahead I reckon :)
a debt free company with big plans in place. Time to come out suspension? I think so! They have until April but all signs are good imo
i hope your right Lancygeo , but , i don't like this wording " a special purpose company has been set up to develop the recycling plant " i wonder if that means ZOX as we know it is not going to be re-listed as quick as we want ? Can we hope to trade in the special purpose company when the old ZOX only own a maximum of 49% ? Looking forward to my worries being proved groundless Go on ZOX
