Maybe pointing to a low ball offer coming in for the company? Seen it before. You never know, especially now they are gaining traction in the US. Also hopefully looking good to win some big govt contracts too.
Hemo, it's been doing the same for a year or more. Probably 15+ decent rns's and sp goes nowhere. No probs with acquisitions if they make sense and add good value to the company. I think the last two will prove to be wise purchases and the Canadian outfit looks like it has got some good equipment that is gaining traction. Much more to come along those lines I expect.
I don't think we will get an acquisition, as bakky mentioned earlier all covid related stocks have taken a hiding today.
Hopefully see a rebound this week and possibly a update ref covid sales etc...
Agreed they have enough money for day to day operations but placing would be for an acquisition.
It's been nearly a year and acquisitions are a clear part of their strategy.
What other reason can there be on a day when further good news is released and a positive day for the market?
probably no more than MM making a living. Nothing to do with the fundamentals of the company, as far as we know?
Just have to decide if this is the last and lowest buying opp or not Andy. How many times have we got that one wrong lol
The 12.23p and 12.24p etc are all buys, presumably to offset the 300k sell at 12.12 just out of interest
really frustrating cannot decide if I should to pick up a few more
Putting in a nice double bottom at least!
It's tough being a YourGene shareholder unless you're looking for the next buying opp!
money in the company 4 months ago with 'good liquidity' we were told. So not a placing to keep the lights on, if indeed there is one coming?
Yes sorry jumped the gun there. All I see is a very solid company, but sentiment is just dire. Maybe a fool parts with his money easily, but to me this is a bargain with fingers in multiple pies.
Syste, 500k were sold earlier today at 12p
Think that was 50k? As far as I'm concerned, this is be greedy time.
someone was keen to offload 500k at 12p.
Petty we weren't deemed in the sector when they shot up? I would hope there isn't another placing coming let's deal with what we have.
Placing coming?
Could be another acquisition, but dilution will hurt existing shareholders.
we are at a 2+ year low, if you take out the market wobble Feb 2020. I notice all the covid stocks have been hit today, are Ygen deemed to be in this sector now?
I just cannot believe what's going on here something cannot be right, good news after good news and we keep getting this decline what's amiss
market shake, ftse is up??
Looks like it's a bit of a market shake - bigger gulp!
Just a tree shake right?
Oh those MMs, right guys?! It's just a tree shake isn't it? Haha. Heh.
...
*Gulp*
