whichever premises Cole was getting rent on, it stopped about 18 months ago.
sure he's still collecting the office rent. RR was the one with sense, jumping ship when he did, we shoud have taken more heed at the time.
& buy the way I don't give a FCUK who takes over Bentley. Cole & Kew have KILLED MOST investor's. Yes even your blue eyed boy Kew. It's time to jog on LEGENDS. Simples.
The only Pussy on this site is you LEGENDS. At least Cole is gone now QUOTE. You have kissed Cole & Kews arse many times on this site. You have high flying city friends. You & they WRONG. You should FCUK off NOW.
Mrlips... that man will be walking the streets looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life, if not he is more stupid than i thought. I would love to read in the new paper that this scum bag has died and I don't care how. His family must be living in shame with the stress, angst and torment he has caused many 1000s of people. In fact , his actions, I bet have directly effected the health of many. Yet we as nation allowed this crook/liar to get away with it scott free. I guess his behaviours must have generated enough tax revenues, so the system will turn a blind eye.
bentley now big brown envelopes allround, well done rupert, are you related to amitt ben haim by any choice, greed corruption at its best, piis allover wee guys, rupert sold 1m shares @ £3 nice one rupert, toeragg
"I now have you on permanent FILTER...." Which is presumably why you're now reading and replying to my posts on the URU board...
..
The plan now after all these years is not a bad plan imo and these operations guys could yet provide useful input to whoever the new owner is, saving them time and money in the process.
highlandsbull: We will never know. As if by magic a Chinese consortium take control of Bentley for peanuts, then it will smell of a UK government stitch-up to me..... At least Cole is gone now, but the tech guys are still very much involved, why? Bentley is marked as postponed- http://www.floatingproductionzone.com/zones/fps_advanced_search.aspx the subsea equipment has been canceled for obviuos reasons- http://www.floatingproductionzone.com/zones/fps_advanced_search.aspx We should find out very soon who are the new operator.
I certainly think going back years to the 'approval' given by DECC by way of encouraging small oilcos to be active in the North Sea and XER being forced as best option to spend $250m in the process, that more positive consideration was not given by the supposed DECC experts to proposing with their 'expertise' in allowing XER a more cost effective option to provide the data they demanded before approving FDP. If possible under FOI that rationle merits investigation as to internal DECC correspondence at the time, even going back to the ON on hire time, were these guys not around checking on rigs v their submitted drilling plans. Also very much questions to the OGA with respect to just what communcation was ongoing with XER in relation to the FDP, provision of data by XER with respect to Quad 9 and timing of same, phantom funding support, lease extensions and the rest. Just what were they being told by XER and where were they sticking their sticky finger in re guarantees and the rest until the whole process seemingly became stymied. And just where also was this wonderful Scottish government in aiding and promoting the resources of Scotland. Jmo.
ceilingcat: This is interesting. When exactly will XEL shares be excluded from the CREST settlement system? What will happen next, will UK shareholders receive worthless share certificates in the mail?
Of course. How many times have you put me on filter now? Well informed long term holders of URU? Are you having a laugh? They haven't a clue and spout nonsense about needing volume for the price to rise, the share price is manipulated by MMs, imminent news (for several months now). Wouldn't want to be out of it over the weekend, etc., And like here, they pounce on anyone that has the temerity to question their substance free opinion that the price will rocket upwards. Not that I have, but taking a short position doesn't mean the price will fall anymore than buying shares is an indication the price will rise. And as you well know I held shares in Xcite as I went to two AGMs. I also received a letter from CREST this week informing me that my sole remaining share (more strictly, my sole remaining depositary interest) is going to be removed from their systems shortly. Shall I post a link to the letter or are you another one who refuses to accept evidence when presented with it?
ceilingcat: What a very sad individual you are. You are the one that never held a single share in XEL. If your so on the ball why didn't you post last week that he resigned. That's right , because you didn't know until yesterday. I also noticed you appeared on the URU BB the other day and slated all the well informed long term holders there. I take it you and your shorting chums have taken a position; a bit like what you did with XEL in 2014. At least I now know what you are all about. Got to wonder if you work alone or are part of a larger operation. Since you have shown your true identity as I suspected all along, don't bother replying to this post, I now have you on permanent FILTER....
Does anybody know where Rupert Cole is living now. I lost 60k on Xcite and would like to look the coward in the eye and ask him where he went wrong while still no doubt living a good life.
Good to see you on the ball. He resigned a week ago. And less of the "we". You no longer have any stake in Xcite energy (if you ever did to begin with).
So we are now down to the famous five. Got to wonder if Cole was pushed as part of a deal.

Yes another amazing asset, let the rig go prove up the asset, try and get the funding to develop. They may be lucky but if you rub the crystal ball it invariably tells you they will struggle to get the funding and the shareholder gets drilled.
Shares in U.K.-listed Hurricane Energy gushed higher Monday after the firm said it had found the "largest undeveloped (oil) discovery on the U.K. continental shelf". Hurricane Energy said in a market release Monday that the firm has located a kilometer-deep oil column which is believed to connect to an existing field. The discovery is near the Shetland Islands, off the north coast of Scotland.
Scotch mist.
Can xel be now classed as a loss, ?
