Safety. Agreed! Prisons, more beds in fewer cells with longer sentences and plenty of training to skill them up so inmates have a chance at rehabilitation. Let's try it. Society cannot continue on this path. It is not possible. We cant keep locking them up for the same sh#t over and over again. A 3rd way perhaps. Either that or use the Isle of Wight ha. Well, at least there isn't an horrendous virus sweeping the earth hey. Anyone else notice how no one of non-Chinese origin has died yet? Odd that innit.
Oldie, it’s the bad things that sticks in our minds. We often miss the many good things. The key is to not get sucked down into the negative.Last week I saw an account of the White Helmets in Syria as they went back, at great risk, to a bombed hospital and rescued a baby from an incubator. For all the great evil that takes place at this time there are inspirational acts of good. Ultimately the goodness will win through, sometimes it’s hard to see how though. In the meantime, there is nothing any of us have to complain about in our lives here, but perhaps there is a responsibility to try to make things a little better where we can. I believe the sum of the positive in the world to out weigh the negative. Do positive where you can and when you see opportunity-I know Bob, puts effort into helping others. Sometimes good comes from unlikely places
The great evil motivators of the world ‘capitalism and greed may well provide many of the answers faced by mankind. Funny old world really.
Hbob. Days like to day remind me that there is no one watching over us, but if there was it may make life a little more bearable for some. This world is f#cked up. Humans, when will we ignore the chimp? Come on evolution, more slow brain....PLEASE! What some people will do to each other...wow. Just when you thought you'd seen and heard it all. Whiskey is out, the Bushmills (liquor of the gods). Let's see what tomorrow brings.
We all need someone to watch over us Bob, even Mrs HBob.
Put me down for one Bob
Wish I could get a 5 million loan at 3%... I'd build luxury apartments at makadi bay... flog them bar one and promote mrs bob head of palm tree watering...
I'd watch over her
Picking up a €5million business loan at 3% is good business for any enterprise. Getting it from a reputable bank, Banco Santander, is an endorsement. It enables payment existing €3m loan from Caja Rural de Extremadura and provides a net €2m of additional working capital and liquidity.
The facility allows W to monetise the majority of the €5.million grant, which is also good business.
The facility interest rate is 3% per annum, payable quarterly, with no amortisation and is secured by a pledge over the rights to the Grant funds. This is good business regardless.
Oh and then there’s the gold to come. All imho.
