Porsche are you still trying to wind people up,after all you stated Rolls Royce was going bus5 last October ,investors here beware ππππ
'Profits' are being used incorrectly by paying out a div. There are β¬114bn accumulated losses on the balance sheet as the profit was never really there to payout.
Cutting or abolishing div would suggest better financial management moving forwards.
LTI,
Cannot agree 100% with you on that, because a dividend cut would be perceived as a necessary step to preserve cash reserves. A cry for help really, something that is done when cashflows and profits are not what they were, or what they should be.
''claimed the dividend would be cut''
cut/no cut/no dividend - not relevant to investors planning to hold for the longer term.
Profits will be used/returned in any case.
Vodafone debts also being eaten away in real terms by inflation.
Move along Porsche. I have been and continue to accumulate dirt cheap UK shares that pay big divis and will continue to do so.
Every time you clown claimed the dividend would be cut and they never did. Are you going to be right this time? Probably not given your poor track record.
IBKR have the best FX rate, and they do an ISA. If you want to follow Porsche advice.
Should break .60 soon then next support looks .55 maybe a touch under. If they announce a dividend cut in May, nailed on imo, these are sub .40. Will end up in the hands of bondholders, all this heavily indebted credit junkie Uk listed dross is going to be vaporised, nobody buys uk shares since brexit anymore anyway. Tories have been a disaster for U.K. plc allowing the great unwashed a vote on something important. Terminal. Advice, salvage some capital, change into usd, wait, buy on next serious S&P correction if it ever sees 3400 againβ¦.and buy index trackers, stock picking for mugs, as you dividend deadbeats have found to your cost with this dogshxt.
Everything's transpiring against any recovery here. No doubt inflation will be up in the UK tomorrow, which will knock this back further. We need some positive news out of Italy to have any chance of a recovery in this macro environment. Investing is becoming a game for mugs.
CPI came in a little higher than hoped stateside. Holding things down over here I guess. Rate cuts in March getting more unlikely.
Silvertortoise. I don't think he needs a lesson in spelling, just in how not to be a boring idiot.
Silver tortoise, you is obbviously a bit slow..

From end of day action I would suggest big boys are looking for a sort term uptrend to form. There are many desperate to catch the bottom for a 30-50% gain in 3-4 months trade.
Duh - i was taking the pi**
For you prof https://www.alphaspread.com/security/lse/vod/summary
Professor, tell us about some shares that trade above their book value please.
Oh the irony.
Prof. I'm sure he couuld (sic) if he tried harder. We all make spelling mistakes though, so no big deal, but some do it on purpose, which is not clever.
Hey mikey,
looks like you need to work on your grammEr...spelled grammar.

I suppose it is half term so poor little Gutter is off primary school for a few days . Maybe you couuld work on your grammer !!
If they'll make a bid - would it be rejected on national security grounds? Or it would get a pass?
It would pass with a few modifications. The bigger issue would be price. Vodafone fair market value and book value is significantly below its current price and I do not believe directors would settle for a take under.
