Vela should have bought Pharm2farm before RMS got involved. They are doing advanced farming science and also Covid (about to announce a new face mask sponsored by the government) and look set to explode. RMS haven't even signed off the deal yet so maybe Vela could outbid them as it's in their price range but I very much doubt it! That kind of company is exactly what the board here are describing though.
thanks embers of hope still with INFT
lol
recent rns still TRYING to return on Main M
as said on previous days and weeks now all we know is the company has
repositioned itself and is raising a large wedge
All is speculation until the BOD reveal what its for but as they are now flush with cast
there are only 3 options for this type of company to progress
New multiple AQ's
A single large stake AQ with a view to it having a near term IPO to cash in on or
possible RTO into at some point in the future to bring to the market
Straight into an RTO scenario to bring fast advancing new company to market ASAP
vastly reduces the time and expense normally taken to promote and float IPO
win win for both companies target gets immediate access to market funding the
company fingers crossed multiplies its market capital quickly from new company
valuation
Thanks Hopingforbags!
Am holding nearly 6m of these at an avg of 0.92 and wanted to hold long so hopefully it will come good. I wish you luck with INFT.
sadly no
I still have one in the bottom draw from sometime ago that has never come back
to market, still in business so live in hope
that one is INFT instead of doing the full RTO and moving to the Main Market they
half arsed it and took a percentage not the full company
So as with any investment especially on AIM there are never any certainties about
anything, you do your research, invest , cross fingers, toes and ears and just pray
it all works out
thanks very much for explaining HopingforBags. Still, on speculation, if there is a suspension and money is locked up for some time, is it guaranteed that the stock will be trading again i.e. I will not lose the money ?
We have no idea if its going to be an RTO at this time just people speculating
until the BOD reveal what the war chest is for it could be multiple AQ's
or as some think and I hope it is (lol) an RTO which is when you take over a company
with an initial valuation higher than your own (hence reverse takeover)
If this is the case the company will go into suspension pending completion and submission
of a new prospectus to the stock exchange under the name of the amalgamated company
This could take a short period or could drag on depending on how much legwork the two
companies have already made prior to the announcement
I have been in RTO's that have taken up to 6 weeks others 6-12 Months
some have gone straight into suspension on announcement, others have announced in
negotiations to RTO company x and have into suspension when deal progress
So you at least have a choice with the 2nd scenario , do you stay in knowing your capital will
be locked in once announcement is made
or drop out and hope to get back in quickly on market return, which is another bag of nails
to deal with as many brokers are not always on the ball with availability immediately on
return
which ever way you choose to play it over the years the vast majority of RTO's have been
explosive on return but I have also had a couple go plink plink fizz one breaking even the
other still a profit but not a lot for the wait
the remainder have been in the 100's % and a couple of gems that went up by 1000's %
With the new man in place and that amount of cash funds available
I expect this one to roast the market leader board at some point
GL to all
which ever strategy you go with
Hi All,
Am new to all this, pls could someone explain how an RTO will work in this context and how we expect it to affect the SP. Vela to take over of which company ?
I'm quite partial to a RTO / SPAC , ( ahh the heady days of VTIQ/NKLA lol) .
Stateside are big on these at the moment, especially in tech and EV. Will be very interesting to see if VELA continue down this road.
SPAQ (Fisker) / SBE (Chargepoint) are just two that are live at the moment and expecting to head further north nearer the merger ticker date :-)
@jarv55 thanks for the link.

Would welcome a rto here Scott has a few interesting companies that could be backed in here. Or maybe it will be something brand new. Or maybe weshop could get backed in here makes not sense as to why they are selling that.
The lead investor on the convertible loan note has also taken a 6-month option whereby it allows them to invest a further £2,777,777 into the business at a £25m valuation as equity which would give them a 10% stake in WeShop. Details of the Lead investor shall be released in the coming days.
nothing in stone but the fact a few names on here getting *****y would suggest we are heading in the right direction wtih the SP :-)
