Only two days of winter could reverse the gas sitiation, they have so little storage, and they have paid so much for it that local suppliers will not use the daily price.
Maybe the shorters know how critical energy will be this winter, it's cynical but the EU have created this mess.
The SP has been quite volatile this week. I suspect this is due to the increase in short position of Marble and Coltrane followed by positive trading, which I assume is off the back of the positive news from the Company and the market last week.
Dutch TTF gas prices continue to decline due to Europe experiencing a mild winter and reserves full to the brim. In fact, not only are reserves full, there are huge LNG tankers waiting to offload to regasification terminals across Europe (effectively reserves are more than 100% if tankers are included).

The article above explains this oversupply. Please note it is a reputable source and recent information, unlike other posts on here. Interestingly, the article highlights “ Spain, whose six LNG terminals make up Europe’s largest regasification network”. This is great considering a material portion of VCP production is in Spain.
This gives me some optimism for the sector and recovery of a more normalised cost base for the next 6-12 months. However it is beyond me that shorters have increased their short positions.
Yet another stooge.
One person, multi ID's ?
far too easy on this site IMHO
I will not even entertain the other threads which is not able to provide a shred of tangible evidence, not relevant and all very historic. Instead let us discuss real tangible numbers.
I find it very interesting that VCP share price has increased from 400p to 516p without any serious director share purchase and no closing of shorts (still 4,93%). I can only assume that this is due to retail trading following positive RNS from the company, the Fitch report, and continued decline in gas prices (Dutch TTF hit €100 today).
This suggests that there is still a lot of share purchase volume pending as the shorters will have to settle their dues. Interesting to see how this pans out over the next few weeks.

Really?
Just be here on Monday please… this is the week everyone has been waiting for since the shorters started!
Notice how desperate they’re getting with the new stories they’re making up! These are good signs for anyone invested. Seems like a last throw of the dice before they run off… after being very badly burnt!
@sharedetect
Every right to complain. When the company big dogs aren't buying, doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.
Why would I hide on Monday? Is the company buying another yacht?
@hawkeye
Please do not disappear on Monday so I can rub it in your face about the Big dogs buying.
I’m very confident that’s what is happening, coupled with some shorters shrinking testicles.
BIG FINISH AS EXPECTED - ROLL ON MONDAY!
Blowing up now!!
@alfista
It must be Mr Wilding or other directors buying, there’s no other logical explanation in my opinion.
Either that or the shorters are running for the door!
@hawkeye
All you do on here is complain about Wilder and black boulder.
Come Monday when there’s an announcement and the green line rockets, you will be singing his praises. I guarantee it!
@alfista
Not a new poster at all - read back through the thread. I did a ‘told you so’ post about 10 days ago saying there would be a spike before the end of next week…… and guess what? There is.
You will see for yourself the announcement to be made Monday. It’s not inside info, it’s more about knowing where to look and what to make of it.
I take it you and your shorter pals are cancelling your holidays and new cars…
Yet another new poster, all singing from the same hymn sheet.
Looks extremely fishy, when some claims to have prior knowledge of the top bloke's actions.
Is that legal?
One of the small time shorters buying 75K at £5.21 - bet they didn’t like that!
Even then I’d say they’re the smarter ones as the others will be badly burnt come Monday when all the shorters are running for the nearest exit!!
@hawkeye
He has bought and is buying more. Will be an announcement Monday. Watch this space.
@blackboulder
With all the positive vibes, do you think Mr Wilding has bought any shares? If he buys, that will give many other like me confidence to buy.
@alfista
You never revealed your short position?
No I'm still here. The stated difficulties still exist.
I guess maybe some of the shorts were closed, but have no idea.
BlackBoulder, you appear to be a company spokesperson. Be careful, not sure it's legal IMHO
IWT looks like a great acquisition for Victoria. Only 4x Ebitda in Cash on Completion, plus some sort of Earn-Out arrangement.
IWT is an import distributor of ceramic tiles, and Victoria has factories in Italy, Spain and Turkey producing ceramic tiles, so no doubt there are loads of synergies to be had.
Completing an acquisition in the current economic environment suggests that the board is very confident with Victoria, a view supported by international rating agency Fitch after viewing inside information no doubt, as these agencies do.
Victoria continues to buy tens of thousands of its own shares every day.
It’s starting to look very interesting.
@sharedetect
Share price rises and @alfista disappears. Just like the other shorters.
Has Wildwolf really bought more shares?
Isn't he still in the ocean somewhere hosting rave parties on his big boat?
You’re right. Blackrock to start closing their short position this afternoon - That’s going to cause a lot of upset amongst the smaller guys but someone gotta go first…
The latest spike is none other than Mr Wilding buying shares and some of the shorters running for the exit!
My sources tell me there’s a huge announcement coming Monday about Wilding and another major shareholder buying in to squeeze out the shorters.
Expect 5+ today and 7+ midweek next time. The patience is finally paying off!
Shorts finally to be squeezed out of the picture!
The shorters are closing positions. All the small independent shorts under 0.5% will get burned very quickly by the big boys BlackRock marble bar.
@alfista
Not sure you will be liking the last 2 day's action.
